I was expecting price drops across the board for all k-cups, and that there would be increased competition from "generic" brands. I guess it was stupid of me to "expect" anything from any company, especially an American one. Don't get me wrong...l'm a proud American and I buy American whenever I can, but lately it seems as if the business models of American companies are no longer based on the products that are not only quality-based but also competitively priced.... Indeed, it seems to me as if American companies have made the shift to delivering as little product as possible for as much money as possible. Again, don't get me wrong. I'm all for a company maximizing its profits, especially if they provide (like Keurig) an innovative product or an outstanding service. But when patents expire and there is not a significant price decrease (and, equally, when you read the ingredient list of popular products from well-known companies and the FIRST ingredient is usually "water", or if you try to purchase a less-processed item from another well-known company [say, for instance, pork chops, chicken, turkey and even beef] and the fine print says your "all-natural" pork chops, turkey breast, chicken breast, etc, contains an 18% to 27% "solution" [whose first ingredient is water]), I believe the result is that many companies are not simply maximizing their profits and encouraging competition, but defrauding the customer! I know I'm a bit off subject here, but did you realize when your bought that turkey breast that it contained a 27% percent "solution" consisting primarily of water which I believe translates into some (many?) companies injecting their meat with water to make it weight more and therefore, 27% of the $3.99/lb you paid for that turkey breast didn't buy turkey breast at all. You ended up paying about $1.07/lb for water when you thought you were buying turkey breast, or pork chops, or chicken...

Why hasn't the cost of k-cups gone down since September 16? (I watched a clip recently on CNNMoney or some business site that the companies who pay Green Mountain for the use of their patent were caught totally "unaware" and "unprepared" to begin production on their own after Setember16,. It seems to me that these companies would know the exact minute they would have to stop paying the patent fee to Green Mountain because it would likely reduce their overhead and increase their profit...The fact that they were not prepared to begin production of their own product at reduced cost seems--to quote Shakespeare--"as false as water." The fact that Green Mountain's patent has expired yet prices have not gone down indicates--at least to me--that "something is rotten" at Green Mountain and all the other companies that conspired to keep the price of k-cups elevated.

Re: Word isn’t displaying my top margin!

Ah, Im now back to normal thanks to you. I have not idea how it changed. I must have somehow hit a few keys to make it loose the top and bottom margins. So thankful you found them for me!

Re: The Infamous "Double Yolk" – Hmmm

My hen laid an egg with three yokes.what does that mean

Re: Word isn’t displaying my top margin!

lifesaver! just a little thing but hugely irritating this evening to find my top margin had vanished.
